Under 13 Year's Awards

Section X

"Honouring the Farmer and Celebrating Our 

Agricultural History"

  This Category is open only to individual person who reside in

the Shire of Augusta Margaret River.

 All entrants must be under the age of 13 years.

 Open to individuals - not groups.

Entry Fee: 50c per entry

Entries Close: Friday 9th October 2009

Benching Times

All exhibits are to be benched by 9.30am Friday 17 October 2009, with

the exception of Literature which must be submitted to the 

Agricultural Society's Ofice by Friday 9th October 2009.

Exhibits are not to be removed before 4.00pm Saturday 17 October.

Prizes are awarded for the items which best encapsulate or represent

the sentiments of the awards and not necessarily the best technical

piece.

The school of the winner in each category will also 

receive $75.00 presented by the President of the 

Shire of Augusta Margaret River

Art

Class 1.

Painting, collage or any 2 dimensional piece of art.

1st $100.00     2nd $50.00    3rd $25.00

Sculpture

Class 2.

Clay, stone, fruit, food, plasticine etc.

Should be on a base or able to be moved if necessary

1st $100.00     2nd $50.00    3rd $25.00

Literature

Poems

Class 3.

1st $100.00     2nd $50.00    3rd $25.00

 Short Stories

Class 4.

1st $100.00     2nd $50.00    3rd $25.00

Please note all literature must be submitted to the Ag Society Ofice

no later than Friday 9th October 2009.

No Late Entries will be accepted as judging will take place prior 

to the show

Pages must be single sided 

(i.e. do not write on the back of a page).

Both may be fiction or non fiction, ideally with an agricultural theme.

Presented on paper, not electronic.

All entries become the property of the Margaret River Argicultural Society

for future promotions
