SPECIAL REGULATIONS

There is NO ENTRY FEE for exhibits.

All animals entered in classes 1 - 9 and brought before the judge will receive $20.00.

This does not apply to calves at foot.

Cattle exhibited in the beef classes must be registered as purebred in the appropriate

stud book or calf register. Pedigrees must be produced on demand. Names and stud

book numbers of pedigree cattle must be shown on the entry form.

Class ages as at 1st October each year.

All animals over 12 months old must have rings or holds in their noses.

Bulls MUST have rings.

Sock bedding is provided.

All exhibitors must provide vender declarations and have NLIS identification in all

animals.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

All cattle must be TB and brucellosis free, in accordance with the Agricultural

Department regulations.

All animals must be halter broken and kept under control at all times.

Summit Fertilizers is offering prizes for a pair of animals of the same, or different sex,

but both being by the same sire or out of the same dam.

Animals must be from single classes 1-4 and 6-9.

Junior handlers 14 years old and under and novice handlers under 17, leading any beef

animal. Judged on handling and control skills of the entrant.

A responsible adult must be on hand at all times to assist as required.

This award is to encourage young people into the Beef Cattle show ring.

Handlers 15 - 24 years of age leading any beef animal. Judged on animal and handler

presentation. First three place getters qualify for State Beef Paraders Competition at

the Perth Royal Show in the following year. ALL ENTRANTS MUST SUPPLY THEIR

DATE OF BIRTH AND ADDRESS OR WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE.
