BENCHING TIMES

All exhibits are to be benched by 9.30am Friday 21 October, 2011.

Exhibits are not to be removed before 4.00pm Saturday 22 October. Prize money will

be available for collection from the office after 3.30pm Saturday.

SPECIAL REGULATIONS

All flowers and pot plants in parts A, B, C, E, F and G to be grown by the

exhibitor in a private garden and are to be the property of the exhibitor.

Exhibitors to supply their own containers for all sections.

In Part A (Cut Flowers) no points awarded for arrangements. Exhibits will

be disqualified if other than stated number of blooms shown or placed in

wrong class.

In Part B (Decorative Vase and Bowls) own foliage unless otherwise stated.

Judging will be 60% for quality of flowers and 40% for arrangement.

Exhibit cards must be attached to exhibit containers.

DEFINITIONS

‘Distinct' means not of the same variety - clearly different.

‘Not Scheduled' means not already named in that section.

Specimens to be staged in separate bottles of appropriate size.

For display purposes, a rose bud is such from the time the calyx opens and

colour is visible, until the guard or outer petals open to not more than 45

degrees.
