Childrens Literature

2011 Theme:

“Margaret River & Districts Agriculture/Viticulture”

 This Category is open only to individual person who reside inthe Shire of Augusta Margaret River.

 All entrants must be 16 years and under to enter.

Open to individuals - not groups.

Entry Fee: 50c per entry.

Entries Close: 4.00 pm Friday 30th September 2011.

Prizes: 1st - $20.00, 2nd - $10.00, 3rd - $5.00

Submission Time for Entry

All entries must be submitted to the Agricultural Society’s Office by

4.00 pm Friday 30th September 2011.

 

Special Regulations

Pages must be single sided only

(i.e. do not write on the back of a page).

Both may be fiction or non fiction with the theme

 

“Margaret River & Districts Agriculture/Viticulture”

Presented on paper, not electronic.

Prizes are awarded for the items which best encapsulate or represent

the sentiments of the awards and not necessarily the best technicalpiece.

Judging will take place prior to the show, entries will be on exhibit onshow days.

Short Stories

Up to 500 words - no more.

Class 1: 6 - 7 years

Class 2: 8 - 10 years

Class 3: 11 - 13 years

Class 4: 14 - 16 years

Poems

Up to 20 lines - no more.

Class 5: 6 - 7 years

Class 6: 8 - 10 years

Class 7: 11 - 13 years

Class 8: 14 - 16 years

Please note all literature must be submitted to the Ag Society Office

no later than 4.00 pm Friday 30th September 2011.

No Late Entries will be accepted as judging will take place priorto the show
